Sungrow 4kW single phase hybrid inverter SH4.0RS-V13 is a balanced solution for residential PV systems where reliable solar energy conversion, battery storage and backup operation are required in one compact unit. It is suitable for standard home solar installations where the system needs enough power for everyday household consumption while keeping installation simple and flexible.

The SH4.0RS-V13 model provides 4kW / 4000W rated AC output power, two independent MPPT inputs and supports up to 11,000Wp recommended PV input power. This allows installers to design residential PV systems with a larger PV array in relation to inverter power, helping users achieve better solar energy production during the day.

With a 40–560V MPPT operating range, 600V maximum PV input voltage and two separate PV inputs, the inverter supports flexible rooftop system design. It can be used for homes where modules are installed on different roof sections or where module orientation, shading and available roof area need to be considered during system planning.

The inverter supports lithium-ion batteries with a voltage range of 80–460V. Maximum battery charge and discharge current is 30A / 30A, while maximum charge and discharge power reaches 6600W. This supports efficient energy storage and helps increase self-consumption of solar energy in the evening or during periods of higher household demand.

Backup function is included. In off-grid mode, SH4.0RS-V13 provides 4000W / 4000VA rated backup output, with a switching time below 10 ms. Peak backup output reaches 8400VA for 10 seconds, supporting selected household loads during grid interruptions.

Sungrow SH4.0RS-V13 offers optional compatibility with SP600S power optimizers. This is useful for residential PV systems with partial shading, different roof planes, chimneys, dormers or more complex module layouts. The inverter also includes PID Zero function, DC switch, DC Type II / AC Type II surge protection, DC reverse polarity protection, AC short-circuit protection and leakage current protection.

For monitoring and system management, the inverter supports RS485, Ethernet, WLAN and CAN communication. iSolarCloud monitoring is available via app and web, offering real-time system data, online monitoring and diagnostic functions for easier operation and service support.

The package includes the Sungrow S100 single phase meter and WINET-S2 communication device. SH4.0RS-V13 is compact, lightweight and designed for wall-mounted installation. IP65 protection, natural convection cooling and quiet operation make it suitable for different residential environments.
