Sungrow 20kW three phase hybrid inverter
SH20-T-V11 is designed for
larger residential buildings, commercial facilities and demanding PV systems where high three phase output, battery storage integration and reliable backup functionality are required. It is suitable for hybrid solar installations that need to combine strong PV production, building consumption and energy storage in one system.
The SH20-T-V11 model delivers
20kW / 20,000W rated AC output power and supports up to
40,000Wp recommended PV input power. With
three independent MPPT trackers and a
2/2/1 PV string configuration, it allows flexible system design for larger rooftops, different roof orientations or PV fields with higher total module power.
The inverter supports
lithium-ion batteries with a voltage range of 100–700V and enables up to
50A charge and discharge current. Sungrow SH20-T-V11 is compatible with
Sungrow SBR and SBH battery systems, making it suitable for hybrid solar systems where battery storage needs to support higher daily consumption, energy optimisation and backup power.
Backup function is included and sized for more demanding applications. SH20-T-V11 switches to backup mode in less than
10 ms and provides 20,000W / 20,000VA rated backup output in off-grid mode. Peak backup output reaches 32,000W / 32,000VA for 10 seconds, supporting selected loads during grid outages.
The inverter supports 100% unbalanced output in both backup and on-grid mode and includes a built-in 63A bypass for whole-home or whole-building backup system design. This is important for installations where loads are not evenly distributed across phases and where stable three phase backup supply is required.
Sungrow SH20-T-V11 includes a DC switch, SPD DC Type II and SPD AC Type II surge protection, DC reverse polarity protection, battery input reverse polarity protection, AC short-circuit protection, leakage current protection, grid monitoring, PID zero function and precise AFCI support. Its IP65 and C5-rated enclosure supports reliable indoor and outdoor installation.
The SH20-T-V11 model uses fan cooling and has a typical noise level of 50 dB(A), which supports stable operation at higher power levels. Communication options include RS485, WLAN, Ethernet and CAN for system monitoring, battery integration and management through Sungrow platforms.
