Zucchetti’s new battery has a nominal capacity of 5.12 kWh and a nominal voltage of 400 V suitable for commercial and industrial (C&I) and photovoltaic (PV) systems.


The ZCS – HV 5kWh battery provides a stackable and easy-to-install high voltage solution. Each battery can operate independently thanks to the DC/DC voltage level converters integrated in each module. The battery measures 420mm x 708mm x 170mm and weighs 50kg. The nominal power is 5.12kWh and the nominal voltage is 400V. Effective operating temperature range -10C to 50C and protection rating IP65.


This battery works with any ZCS three-phase hybrid inverter. To operate at maximum efficiency, battery systems also require assembly and support facilities, as well as a battery management unit (BMU) to manage the energy in the battery and flow to and from the inverter.


The device can be used in all residential applications where extended capacity is required to provide electricity during non-operating hours of the photovoltaic power system. Lithium-ion technology makes the battery suitable for deep discharges when and if necessary.
