33kW three phase string inverter SG33CX-P2 is a commercial PV inverter designed for
larger rooftop solar systems, business facilities, industrial PV installations and professional projects where flexible string design, high efficiency and advanced protection functions are required.
The SG33CX-P2 model supports up to
46.2kWp recommended maximum PV input power, with
3 independent MPPT inputs and 2 PV strings per MPPT. This configuration gives installers more flexibility when designing PV systems with multiple roof sections, different module orientations or separate PV fields.
The inverter is designed for 1000Vdc PV systems and supports a maximum PV input voltage of 1100V. The MPP voltage range is 160–1000V, with 600V rated PV input voltage. Maximum PV input current is 90A, or 30A per MPPT, while maximum DC short-circuit current is 120A, or 40A per MPPT. This makes SG33CX-P2 suitable for modern high-power PV modules and commercial string configurations.
On the AC side, SG33CX-P2 provides
33kW / 33kVA rated AC output power and 36.3kVA maximum apparent AC power. Maximum AC output current is 55.2A, while rated AC output current at 230V is 47.8A. The inverter is designed for three phase grid connection 3 / N / PE, with 220 / 380V or 230 / 400V rated AC voltage.
For safe and stable operation, SG33CX-P2 includes
DC switch, DC reverse polarity protection, AC short-circuit protection, leakage current protection, ground fault monitoring and PV string current monitoring. Surge protection is integrated as DC Type I+II and AC Type II.
Sungrow SG33CX-P2 also includes PID recovery function and integrated AFCI support for additional system safety. The inverter supports dynamic shading optimization, Smart IV Curve Diagnosis, key component diagnosis and grid fault recording, helping installers and service teams manage commercial PV systems more efficiently.
With
IP66 protection and
C5 anti-corrosion rating, SG33CX-P2 is suitable for demanding outdoor environments. Smart forced air cooling, low night power consumption below 5W and an operating temperature range from
-30°C to 60°C support reliable operation in different project conditions.
For local monitoring, the inverter provides LED indication and Bluetooth connection through the app.
RS485 communication is supported, while
WLAN and Ethernet are optional. Remote monitoring is not included in the standard product and should be added separately if required for the project.
