Sungrow 125kW three phase hybrid C&I inverter SH125CX is designed for commercial and industrial PV systems that require high power output, battery storage integration, advanced energy management and reliable backup functionality. It is suitable for larger hybrid solar installations where PV generation, building consumption, battery storage and backup power need to work together in one scalable system.

The SH125CX model delivers 125kW rated AC output power and supports up to 250kWp maximum PV input power. With 10 independent MPPT inputs and 2 PV strings per MPPT, it provides excellent design flexibility for large rooftop PV systems, complex module layouts and projects with different roof orientations or module groups.

The inverter supports up to 200% PV oversizing and 40A × 10 MPPT input current. This makes SH125CX suitable for high-power PV modules and demanding C&I projects where maximum use of available roof space, higher solar production and stable system performance are important.

Sungrow SH125CX supports lithium-ion batteries with a battery voltage range of 129–880V and CAN communication. The inverter enables up to 200A / 200A charge and discharge current, with 125kW / 125kW maximum charge and discharge power. This makes it suitable for larger battery storage systems, peak shaving, self-consumption optimisation and advanced energy management applications.

The inverter is smart trading ready and supports intelligent TOU, dynamic pricing and VPP participation. It is also suitable for DC-coupled solutions in new installations and retrofit upgrades, making it a practical choice for C&I projects where an existing PV system is upgraded with battery storage.

Backup function is included. SH125CX provides ≤10 ms UPS-level switching between on-grid and off-grid operation, 125kW rated backup output and 1.5 times rated power peak load capability for 10 seconds. This supports selected loads during grid outages and helps maintain stable operation in demanding commercial and industrial applications.

The inverter supports 100% three-phase unbalanced output, which is important in commercial and industrial buildings where loads are not always evenly distributed across phases. This allows more flexible energy distribution and supports stable three phase operation in real project conditions.

Sungrow SH125CX includes grid monitoring, DC reverse polarity protection, AC short-circuit protection, leakage current protection, DC switch, ground fault monitoring, PV string current monitoring, battery input reverse polarity protection and PID zero function. Surge protection is provided with DC Type I+II and AC Type II protection.

For active safety, SH125CX includes AFCI 3.0, an intelligent DC arc interrupter with a detection range of up to 450 m. It also supports intelligent string-level protection and PV-to-ground fault protection, which are especially important in large commercial and industrial PV systems.

The IP66 and C5-rated enclosure, self-cleaning air ducts and smart forced air cooling support reliable operation in demanding environments. The inverter operates in a temperature range from -30°C to 60°C and is designed for wall-mounting installation.
